The Madrid Science and Innovation Week is a scientific outreach and public engagement event, organised by Fundación para el Conocimiento madri+d to involve citizens in science, technology and innovation, especially aimed at younger generations, to promote scientific careers by eliminating gender barriers from the earliest stages of their education. At CNIO, we open up our laboratories to the public to show people where, how and why we work, as well as what we’re currently working on.
