Spanish National Cancer Research Center (CNIO)

Our goal is to develop new and more effective approaches to preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. Apart from scientists widely regarded as among the world’s best, we are also positioned to take advantage of a pharmaceutical discovery program.

Here at the CNIO, we are proud of our ongoing commitment to prepare both men and women for a career in the sciences and promote women to become Research Directors.

The CNIO is likewise committed to reaching out to society by engaging with the non-specialist public through projects such as “CNIO Friends”.
