Activities

Since our creation in late 2012, the WISE Office has been actively working on various projects:

  • Monthly seminars with a gender focus given by women leaders in different fields
  • Preparation of the CNIO Equality Plan in collaboration with Direction, Management and the Works Council
  • Exhibitions with a gender perspective (eg “Marie Sklodowska-Curie. A Polish Woman in Paris”)
  • Organization of events to promote Equal opportunities in SOMMa Centers
  • Organization of science workshops for high school students accompanied by a mentoring session by CNIO scientists
  • Presentations in schools and IES by CNIO scientists on the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science
