“CNIO and the City” is the educational outreach project sponsored by CNIO with support from the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) – Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. It sets out to stimulate a creative mindset and encourage students of secondary school age to consider the sciences as a career path, by interacting with them directly and providing their teachers with tools and materials to inspire and motivate the entire educational community.
If you are a student residing in the Madrid Autonomous Community, our EDUCACNIO program may prove of interest, as it allows one to participate in hands-on learning activities such as:
- Laboratory Immersion
- My First Science Project
And if you are a teacher at the Upper Secondary or Vocational Training levels, you might want to take a look at FORMACNIO, where you can update your familiarity with the basics of biology and scientific research in general, with particular emphasis on cancer research.
