UGH-CEGEN provides to the users different services to facilitate the sample management:

• DNA extraction – Automated DNA extraction is performed with Kingfisher Flex robot. This service is available to complement our genotyping and sequencing services. DNA extraction is currently available for whole blood and buffy coat.
• DNA quantification – DNA quantification is performed using flurometric techniques (Picogreen and Qubit) to ensure the quality of the quantification. This Service is mandatory before the genotyping Service.
• DNA quality assesment – It includes DNA quantification with flurometric techniques (Picogreen and Qubit) and DNA qualification to ensure the integrity os the samples through a Fragment Analyzer.
• Library quality assesment – It includes library quantification with flurometric techniques (Picogreen and Qubit) and library qualification to obtain the median size of the library through a Fragment Analyzer. This Service is mandatory before the sequencing Service.
