The Molecular Diagnostics Clinical Research Unit (UICDM) relies on state of the art technology to carry out molecular diagnosis essential for the treatment of different types of cancer. We can offer extremely sensitive, highly specific molecular testing to detect alterations in genetic sequencing or changes in the levels of expression of the genes involved in the cancer.
Our efforts allow for early diagnosis to be made at an even earlier stage and improve our ability to detect residual traces of the disease with patients in clinical remission. We evaluate patients’ response to a given treatment so as to make informed decisions concerning the therapeutic options available.
