At the CNIO, we are proud to be involved in a number of initiatives for promoting innovation at the national and international level and maintain a robust activity with public or private sector funding innovation activities. For many of these projects partners from the industry business sector will actively participate. At the present time, the following projects are underway.

Caixa Impulse

CaixaImpulse stimulates the creation of new businesses and marketable products in the life and health sciences sector. The idea is to ensure the involvement of research institutions working on projects that will create value for society.

Collaborative challenges

Retos-Colaboración is an initiative aimed at intensifying the channels of cooperation linking businesses and public research entities. It encourages the development of new technologies and new approaches, the business application of new ideas and skill sets, and the creation of new products and services.
