[In Spanish] María José San Román, chef and owner of Monastrell restaurant, which has been awarded one Michelin star, visited CNIO on December 3, 2019, to give a talk at the seminars organized by the Women in Science Office (WISE).
The title of her talk, ‘Woman in gastronomy’, honours the association she founded in order to defend the interests and representation of women in gastronomy. We were lucky enough to learn about emblematic Spanish ingredients that are not only sustainable but also have high nutritional value.
