[In Spanish] Dr. Maria Neira, Director of the Department of Public Health and Environment of the WHO, has given the talk ‘Public Health in feminine’ in the seminars organized by the Women in Science Office (WISE), on September 14, 2021, by Zoom.
She began her career at Doctors Without Borders practicing in zones of armed conflicts and since then she has not stopped exercising positions of great responsibility. Prior to her current position, she has been a UN Public Health Advisor, Director of the Department of Control, Prevention and Eradication at WHO and also President of the Spanish Food Safety Agency.
