The mountain climber Edurne Pasaban, the first woman to climb the world’s 14 eight-thousanders, the actor Carlos Hipólito, and the Trial and Enduro world champion Laia Sanz are starring in the new #CNIOStopCancer campaign launched by the Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO) to mark World Cancer Day on February 4.
“I am joining forces with CNIO, one of the world’s leading research organisations, to achieve a shared dream: to put a stop to cancer,” explains Edurne. “Life has taught me that, if you can dream it, you can do it. Now more than ever, cancer research must not stop.”
