[In Spanish] On July 2, the CNIO Friends Day took place. Due to the current situation, this year it was held online. It was a moving and emotional event to welcome and recognise our donor community; our Friends were able to see the presentations of the CNIO Director, Maria Blasco, and the researchers hired thanks to their generous donations and contributions. We also had an interesting Q&A session from the attendees.
As a final touch, we had the guest appearance of our dear friend, Luz Casal, who spoke with Maria Blasco about the importance of philanthropy and solidarity in our lives, and the initiative she held during the confinement of Covid-19.
