CNIO Arte is an initiative undertaken by the CNIO, funded by the Banco Santander Foundation and the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology – Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, aimed at building bridges between outstanding figures in the world of science and art so that together they can explore the territory that both their respective fields of endeavour – scientific discovery and artistic creation — have in common.
The second edition of CNIO Arte (2019) is curated by the visual artist Amparo Garrido and it will bring together two admirable men: the photographer Chema Madoz and the quantum physicist Ignacio Cirac. An image emerged from this meeting. From this image, 30 numbered and signed photoengravings were released. These photoengravings are for sale and their benefits will go entirely to CNIO Friends to get funds for cancer research.
If you are interested in purchasing one or more Chema Madoz photoengravings, please, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
