The third edition of the Symposium Arte y Ciencia, held on February 16th 2022 at the CNIO Auditorium, was directed by Carlos Jiménez, Aesthetics Professor Emeritus, Historian and Art Critic. This year’s theme was ‘Art, science, and pandemics’, in line with the dialogue between this edition’s protagonists: Susana Solano and Pedro Alonso.

At this year’s Symposium, we had the chance to enjoy the presentations of: Carlos Jiménez, Director of the Symposium; Ruth Toledano, columnist at elDiario.es, publisher, and collaborator at Fundación Franz Weber; Luis Enjuanes, Research Professor at the Laboratorio de Coronavirus del Centro Nacional de Biotecnología (CNB-CSIC); and Ana Matey, artist. Each speaker, on its talk, shed light over the theme through their own perspective.
